Who do we train ?

We train anyone with an interest in a photography from complete beginners or novices - even if you don't yet have a camera, and are considering what to purchase. We are very happy to train those with compact cameras, 35mm film cameras, DSLRs, and even those using medium format cameras using either film or digital - we have used all of these systems. We also give extended training to advanced amateurs, and serious enthusiasts.

We currently use Nikon cameras, but are very experienced in the Canon system as well as, Hasselblad and Bronica and can easily train those with Sony, Sigma, Leica, Pentax, Mamiya, Fuji, Olympus and Panasonic systems. Apple and PC computers running Canon or Nikon software, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and Apple Aperture and iPhoto are all systems we use or have used and can utilise in our sessions for capture and post-processing.

We regret that we do not give training in wedding photography or newborn photography and do not train aspiring professionals or new professional photographers in the aspects of running a professional photographic business. This would be foolish for us commercially as we are working professionals ourselves and intend to be for some time. We hope you understand.

We will train those under the age of 18, but only in the presence of a parent or legal guardian in which case the sessions have to be booked as 2:1 tuition. We regret that we can't train children unaccompanied.
