Mike French is the photographer at Meonshore Studios

Deemed to have an eye for a picture at the tender age of 11, and in a darkroom by the age of 17 - Mike has had a "proper" camera in his hands for over 25 years and has been shooting professionally for over 7 of those. With that amount of experience Mike has never required portfolio days, stock photographs, or friends to dress up for him and only shows real weddings with real couples to his clients.

With hundreds of weddings photographed professionally and a comprehensive training at a classical wedding photography studio several years ago Mike is well prepared to shoot your wedding. He had added his documentary eye, artistic flair and modern approach developed over the last 6 years of shooting weddings for his own clients to create this fusion of the best of the old and the new which is his signature style.

Mike combines this with a talent for creative album design, firmly believing that the design of the album is as important as the individual quality of each of the images. It is the album which tells the full story of your day, each image a brief moment within it.

But most importantly he is a really nice guy, the kind of person you would want at your wedding. He works hard on your day but always with a friendly smile, and an unobtrusive nature. You will feel like you have known him for years by the time it gets to your wedding day, your guests will be at ease in his presence and because of this your photographs with have a naturally happy feel and warmth to them.
